Ramblings: Somewhere between 1975 and today

Roger is playing Quo & Zeppelin riffs as second violin, ‘Nobby’ Boyes on principal violin - why did we call him Nobby, Steve is playing the ‘last post’ on the trumpet and questioning why concert C is a B or is it?… These two chaps were both recorded as madrigals, the Hallelujah chorus, Messiah, Zadok the Priest at Preston Guild Hall, JC - then the voices broke. Dethwish, Roughmix, TitusGroan, Take five, Ross, Ian, Simon, Mr Corbishley, the Robinsons -Chris & Mark; Darryl, lord of the six string, Mick Bonney…. how long you could grow your hair , an unhealthly passion for Cowboy boots, London art trips, Winston, Chesterfield; the tuck shop - sorry Cliff. Projects and people Rosa Rugosa, acoustic two, Funkee Jungle. Currently performing as a duo Steve Collins & Roger Cartwright perform their own take on songs from the unlikeliest of bed fellows - Pink Floyd, Santana, the Doors, Led Zeppelin, Fleetwood Mac, Hendrix, Coldplay, Travis, David Gray, Elton John, Paul Weller, The Doves - to name but a few as well as their own distinctive original material.-
Two blokes, two guitars, same awesome starfish sound and no backing tracks, described as "making quiet the new loud" and "simply stunning".
